Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Set mid-way between the city centre and Constantia, the Southern Suburbs are centrally positioned making it easy to reach most other areas of interest. Rondebosch and Newlands are both close to the Newlands sports stadiums, Claremont is on the doorstep of the upmarket Cavendish Square shopping mall and Bishopscourt borders on Kirstenbosch Gardens. For sporting events, the Southern Suburbs are the obvious choice while for business travellers the location is central and convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the area for evening entertainment.

You'll find a few big hotels in the area but the majority of accommodation is found in smaller boutique hotels, guesthouses and B&B's as well as self-catering options.
